The S3 solution (Smart People. Smart Process. Smart Factory.), helps food manufacturers monitor and reduce their carbon footprint in real time. With sensor networks, AI-driven analytics, and gamified feedback, S3 gives both management and factory teams the tools to continually cut waste and emissions — therefore providing significant savings to the planet and reducing production costs.
Being able to see waste occurring and instantly track the cause gives production management a new level of insight and control – creating a living carbon footprint.
More radically, S3 factories will be able to present the data gained from real-time monitoring in a ‘gamified’ form, where it can be instantly understood and acted on by factory floor staff, and where their refinements can be evaluated and earn them ‘in-game’ rewards.
Formed as a collaboration between Software Imaging, Raynor Foods, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Lincoln, Alyn brings together deep technical expertise, real-world business insight, and cutting-edge academic thinking.
